Yes, I know...another LO...but I couldn't resist going in the
SASSY SCRAPPER'S challenge. I'd forgotten that
Georgia Heald had done her first ever sketch for this one & I've left it a little late....but it's still not too late for you to play along either!!!!!

I find circles very challenging. And that's the understatement of the century, so I was happy to give this a 'go' & do my very best. Once again I have to thank
IRINI for the gorgeous Webster's Pages papers that I won in her
Once Upon A Sketch blog hop, as well as for some of the flowers. One of mine's in there & so is the amazing canvas-y one by
MITRA. YUMMY!!
Here y'go:
 |
| Close up of flowers... wish I knew what 'brand' this one is???Anyone know? My little satin one is here too. |
 |
| I've never used scrolls for journaling before - but I've seen both Heather & Lindy do it beautifully..so if I was going to stretch myself with circles, decided to go the whole way & give the scrolls a go, too!!! |
 |
| Mitra's amazingly gorgeous flower! |
 |
| A Webster's sticker..mounted it, distress inked the edge & popped it up on dimensionals for some added 'pop'. |
 |
| Close up of my title. Saw somewhere how you can use your corner punch to go around a circle...so I tried that here, too, with my Martha Stewart one! It worked really well:):) |
And FINALLY the whole LO!!! I flipped the sketch to the other side.
 |
| I had to fussy cut around the paper then lay it back down so I didn't lose the decoration behind the photo. I'm LOVIN' fussy cutting my photos atm, too! |
BTW, basically the journaling talks about what a good friend Mary is...how we've known each other ever since we met at uni as 'mature age' students. This was taken on Mother's Day - her daughter was working; we were stuck at the craft market with our card stall....so we 'hung out' together. She also helped hold onto our tent poles, as the wind was blowing a gale. See, friends help out in ALL sorts of ways!!!!!
Cheers, Lizzy H
